The Western Australian Geneological Association is a well established organization which has been active for over 25 years. They boast several assets including a library, records, a regular journal and a healthy membership.

This is a book by John Rintoul detailing the history of the town of Esperance. This is quite a rare book and very affordable, though it was produced cheaply in booklet form rather than with a hard cover. Availability is probably limited to Elizabeth’s Bookshops.

The Esperance Shire Council has compiled a very short history of the area, though it makes no mention of its aboriginal heritage.
